A Spooktacular Hallowe'en with family & friends

It's been a crazy fall here for me and my family. We've all been hit with the flu, DJ is still adjusting to going to school and Ava's super cute but has hit the wonderful two year old stage that can sometimes be a "teey bit" challenging! But all in all, it has been a great fall. We ventured to the Pumpkin Patch with good friends who also come out with us every Hallowe'en. I hope everyone had a great fall season and now we welcome winter - brrrr.

some fall fun

This is Jordan and Samantha, my husband's cousin's kids... which I guess makes them my cousins-in-law and - whew! - a whole lotta crazy really does run in the family! (I thought it was just my kids - lol!)  These crazy two & four year olds were a lot of fun on a beatuiful Sunday morning just playing in the leaves and running around in true two year old fashion. It was great to catch up with family especially when the kids are around the same age as my two, lots in common and a really fun session. Thanks so much Deb & I hope you enjoy your sneak peeks...

baby Violet

Meet miss Violet. Isn't she as adorable as can be? She had her favorite positions, she really likes to have her wee arm up by her face and wouldn't have it any other way but hey, it works! She slept like a champ and gave me no fuss at all, truly a sweet newborn. I saw that wee smile at the end and snapped really fast and it's as adorable as can be so it makes it to the blog ... I can hear the sighs and hearts melting! Thank you Virginia and Brent for having me out to meet little Violet. Enjoy your sneak peeks...

Another sweetie...

Miss Naila is about 2 months old and gave me a run for my money with our session! The little cutie-pie wasn't feeling like having her picture taken. We got a whole lot of sweet pics like this:

but that's OK because she's in charge! her sister is an absolute sweetie as well and their mom showed me pictures of them both as babies and they looked identical. See how beautiful big sister Neesa is and how miss Naila will look when she's four if they keep true to photos so far. We did manage to get Naila to sleep a tiny bit and we managed to get some beautiful images. Thank you Cara & Saf for having me to your house for some family pictures. I hope you enjoy your sneak peeks...

Thanksgiving turkeys and cow pies....

Thanksgiving weekend I had the huge pleasure of meting up with this wonderful family for some ultra-fun pictures in the bush. Yes, it involved jumping over a fence and dodging "cow pies" but the fun-loving nature of all the people and the six kids and grandkids more than made up for the threat of stinky shoes for the car ride home. I had a blast for our session and I hope you all enjoy some sneak peeks...
