An old friend & her fam

I've known Cheryl a long time. And it's funny how you can be away from friends for a long while, each of us taking different paths, schooling, careers and now families but get on the phone after all this time and YAP for hours!! (OK, maybe the yapping for hours is a female thing) but I think Cheryl's done pretty good for herself. This is her family and her crazy energetic young one, Charmaine. So full of spark and LOVES to dance! I say watch out, Cheryl.... I think you have a superstar on your hands! It was a blast hanging out with you guys. I hope you enjoy your sneak peeks!

Putting it all together

One of my goals this coming year is to offer more storyboards and ways for clients to display their images together in a wonderful way. Sometimes having a group of great images is lovely, but not quite as impactful as a group of images together telling a story, adding a different feeling to the moment or creating a series of moments defined, together. I highly recommend storyboards or wall clusters of your favorite images hung or displayed together. And since a picture is worth a thousand words, here is one from a few posts back in storyboard form. What do you think?

A Spooktacular Hallowe'en with family & friends

It's been a crazy fall here for me and my family. We've all been hit with the flu, DJ is still adjusting to going to school and Ava's super cute but has hit the wonderful two year old stage that can sometimes be a "teey bit" challenging! But all in all, it has been a great fall. We ventured to the Pumpkin Patch with good friends who also come out with us every Hallowe'en. I hope everyone had a great fall season and now we welcome winter - brrrr.

some fall fun

This is Jordan and Samantha, my husband's cousin's kids... which I guess makes them my cousins-in-law and - whew! - a whole lotta crazy really does run in the family! (I thought it was just my kids - lol!)  These crazy two & four year olds were a lot of fun on a beatuiful Sunday morning just playing in the leaves and running around in true two year old fashion. It was great to catch up with family especially when the kids are around the same age as my two, lots in common and a really fun session. Thanks so much Deb & I hope you enjoy your sneak peeks...

baby Violet

Meet miss Violet. Isn't she as adorable as can be? She had her favorite positions, she really likes to have her wee arm up by her face and wouldn't have it any other way but hey, it works! She slept like a champ and gave me no fuss at all, truly a sweet newborn. I saw that wee smile at the end and snapped really fast and it's as adorable as can be so it makes it to the blog ... I can hear the sighs and hearts melting! Thank you Virginia and Brent for having me out to meet little Violet. Enjoy your sneak peeks...
